The Resilient Kids program is a 7 week program supporting children at risk of developing a mental illness or that are experiencing anxiety, depression or anger outbursts. The program teaches children cognitive skills to support them to develop healthy beliefs and positive thinking. The program teaches children to value who they are and separate themselves from the fears of others, fostering empowerment and inner strength. Children are supported to be the masters of their own mind and behaviours. Relaxation strategies are taught so that children can learn to self calm and increase self-awareness allowing them to resolve problems more effectively. The program includes social skill development to support children to develop healthy relationships and build great social networks.
